Alcohol, Tabacco, and Firearms
Beginning July 1, 2012, Kansas cities are now allowed to publish summaries of regular ordinances in their official city newspapers if full versions of ordinances are made available to the public on City websites (HB 2166). This legislation was passed to save on publication costs. This legislation applies only to regular ordinances. Charter ordinances must still be published in their entirety for two consecutive weeks pursuant to Article 12, § 5 of the Kansas Constitution.
- Ordinance No. 34
An Ordinance defining certain misdemeanors and prescribing punishment for the same againist discharging any pistol, revolver, gun, or other firearm. Also any firecracker, squibs, roman candles, rockets, or other fireworks are prohibited within the city limits.
- Ordinance No. 156
An Ordinance pertaining to the shooting of Bow and Arrows, Air Rifles, BB Guns, Sling Shots, and other dangerous weapons within the city limits of Williamsburg, Kansas.
- Ordinance No. 310
An Ordinance stating it is unlawful to discharge a firearm within the city limits of Williamsburg, Kansas.
- Ordinance No. 434
An Ordinance authorizing Sunday Sales of Cereal Malt Beverage in its original package within the City of Williamsburg, Kansas.
- Ordinance No. 456
An Ordinance regulating the sale of cereal malt beverages, licenses fees, closing times, establishing zones for providing the revocation of licenses and providing penalties for violation.
- Ordinance No. 472
An Ordinance exempting certain following described public property to permit the consumption of alcoholic liquor and cereal malt beverages on the street for Jayhawker Days from here on out.
