Alcoholic Beverage License and Fees
​Any business or club that desires to sell any cereal malt beverage or alcoholic beverage within the City of Williamsburg must be licensed to do so.  An application is required for any new or renewal license and fees are as follows:

• Cereal Malt Beverage - off premises: $75.00

• Cereal Malt Beverage - on premises:$125.00

Applications are available from the City Clerk.  Other restrictions and requirements apply based on specific circumstances of your business and its location.  The City Clerk will be happy to assist you with your application and inform you of any restrictions or requirements.

Dog Licenses
​The City of Williamsburg does have a leash and license law for dogs.  Licenses for dogs expire December 31 of each year and can be obtained at City Hall by providing current proof of rabies vaccination and payment of the appropriate license fee:

$3.00 per tag before March 1st of each calendar year.
$5.00 per tag after March 1st of each calendar year.
$3.00 per tag for newly acquired dogs.
$1.00 for each lost tag.

Restrictions
The City of Williamsburg does prohibit any breed of pitbulls within the city limits of Williamsburg.  Dogs running at large within the city are subject to impoundment and they owner may be subject to a fine or other cost associated.
