City of Williamsburg Receives Grant for New Park Benches & Tables

Through the Kansas Department of Health & Environment Bureau of Waste Management Waste Tire Grant program, the City of Williamsburg was awarded a fund match in the amount of $3,430.00 for the purchase of 6 Benches and 4 Tables for the City Parks. They have been located at City Park and Lou Coppoc Field Park for the benefit of all ages to enjoy the parks. The items were purchased through Champlin Tire Recycling Inc, a manufacturer of Back Atcha Outdoor Furniture. They are made of 100% recycled materials of plastic & rubber, are weather and moisture resistant, and do not require maintenance treatment.
