Welcome to the City of Williamsburg, Kansas! Established in 1869 and recognized as a home rule community in the 1970s, Williamsburg is proud to be a third-class city in Franklin County. Our City Council, consisting of five elected members and an elected Mayor, is dedicated to serving the community. Each council serves a four-year term, with staggered elections held every November, ensuring a consistent and engaged leadership for our residents.
